About Me

A very warm welcome - I'm Helen Bissett. I set up Budding Futures in 2007 because I myself had undergone a number of changes that had a profound impact on my attitude towards and satisfaction with life. I realised that to be truly successful you have to take 100% responsibility for everything that you experience in life. This includes the level of your achievements, the results you produce, the quality of your relationships, the state of your health and physical fitness, your income, your debts, and your feelings. Pretty much I realised that I had all the resources that I needed within me to achieve anything I wanted to achieve in life. Having experientially learned this, I just knew that I wanted to work to in learning and personal development.

After graduating with an BA (Hons) Business Studies in 1993, I started my business career in medical and pharmaceutical sales. After 6 years on the road, I hung up my car keys and continued my development in a number of marketing and mangement roles within global companies including Reckitt Benckiser. I have worked with a diverse range of brands for example, Dettol, Senokot and Fybogel (laxatives), Youngs Admiral Pie and Chip Shop range! I have sold an equally bizarre range of products such as epidural needles, chest drains, operating theatre gowns and drapes, Gaviscon and Disprin! I have been responsible for product portfolios in excess of £150million, and have extensive experience in marketing brands from concept development to point of sale strategy.

Since 2004 I have been passionately learning about learning, developing learning, delivering learning and personally learning. I have worked with hundreds of business's to develop realistic and motivational business plans, intertwining my business knowledge with my growing understanding of how we learn and what motivates us to bring fabulous results into our lives. I work with a wide variety of established clients to deliver inspiring and engaging training programmes and seminars. My client list includes Universities, Colleges, Councils, Government Agencies as well as private medium to large organisations.

I am actively building my personal development practice and have a good mix of private clients and corporate contracts.
