Helen Bissett, Managing Director
BA (Hons) PGCE. PGC Coaching Dip Coaching NLP prac MIFL MICFHelen is a highly professional and effective trainer and coach. The feedback from her clients is always positive and often exceptional. Helen thinks that it’s a fusion of passion, professionalism and desire for personal learning that makes the difference.
She is continually studying and developing her skills and has just successfully completed her post graduate certificate in Personal and Corporate Coaching. She is continuing her study towards the full Masters degree, which when completed will make Helen one of the most highly qualified coaches in the country. For a decade before that she worked in a number of progressively senior sales and marketing roles managing brands such as Lemsip, Dettol and Young’s Chip Shop.
Born in Scotland, she moved to Yorkshire about 12 years ago and has made this home. When not immersed in learning she likes a challenge or two and has recently attempted the Oxfam Trailtrekker, Great North Run and an abseil down the local Holiday Inn!
Suzanne Henderson

Suzanne’s ethos is to complete every task to the best of her ability, to deadline and to the complete satisfaction of everyone. Suzanne has worked at Director and Assistant Managing Director level for major local companies and as such has a highly regarded reputation.
Trish Patten
Senior Trainer and CoachTrish has been coaching people in the workplace for over 20 years, and as a full time profession since 2005. As well as being an NLP practitioner, Trish studied transformational coaching in South Africa taking three years of learning and practicing to gain the prestigious qualification.
Prior to 2005 Trish had a successful career in New Product Development, so much so that she began to develop others on approach. This is where the love of teaching and coaching was born leading to her eventual career change to full time personal development.
Trish is not long back to the UK after 24 years in South Africa. She loves to read and can complete a whole book a day. She also has an extraordinary talent for drinking an extraordinary amount of fruity tea!
Melanie Lewis
Business DevelopmentMelanie has been serving customers needs in a sales and marketing capacity since she left school. She would like to say that’s only a few years ago but she’ll admit it’s over 15 years! Melanie has won numerous awards for her excellence in meeting customer needs, and if you were to ask her why she excels in this area she would say it’s because she is a people person. Meeting new people excites her and she thrives on building relationships and understanding how she can best help.
Melanie’s has extensive experience in the media sector but it’s her intense interest in personal development has brought her to Budding Futures. She has an ethos of only doing that what she really believes in – and she believes in the work that Budding Futures does. Her only break from the sales and marketing world was when she took a year out to travel the world and experience different cultures. Her biggest learning during this year was to never take anything for granted.
